What kind of functions do you play?
What we charge depends on the day, time, location and type of show. A formal event on a Saturday in June will typically cost more than a small party scheduled on a Thursday in January.
We specialize in weddings, but we also host banquets, proms, reunions, graduations, fund raisers, holiday parties and much much more!
Our set up consists of a professional sound system complete with wireless microphones, mixer, laptop, powerful speakers fit for rooms large and small and an impressive LED and Laser light display that will keep em dancing!

What can I expect from your DJs?
Our DJs are professional, experienced, and always receptive to your input. We will MC the event and do any introductions or announcements you request. We will communicate with you as much as possible prior to the event in order to ensure that your event goes as smoothly as possible and that there are no surprises. We will do whatever it takes to ensure that every single event is a complete success.
Will the DJ keep the event moving along?
Absolutely! We will MC the event and make any introductions or announcements you request. We are also quite good at using our musical expertise to choose just the right songs to keep your dance floors full and the guests smiling. And yes, we're more than happy to get out on the dance floor and show the guests how to cha cha slide or cupid shuffle!
A single owned operator is more personal and can give you a better price. Having a small local company makes it possible to eliminate overhead that requires big companies to charge more. But just like the big companies this is my career and not just a hobby. Over 15 years of experience has enabled us to acquire the same knowledge and know how as well as pooling my talents and learning from other DJs. We also have backup equipment and an additional DJ standing by so that your event won’t suffer if a problem arises.
What is the difference between a large corporate DJ service compared to a more humble service like Lost in Sound?
Can we come see you at a show?
If we have a public show you are absolutely welcome to come check us out. However, we do discourage clients from stopping in to a private formal event.
Whats the advantages of hiring a DJ over a band?
DJs have a much larger music selection and we come with an impressive light show. We will also make announcements and introductions. With DJs you get non stop entertainment. The only breaks we take are to stop off to the bathroom and even then the music continues. Live bands are also likely to be much more expensive.

We have done shows all over the state. It might cost you a little more for mileage and accomodations but we're confident that you'll find our experience and low prices make it worth the extra cost.
It’s never too early to reserve your date. Of course the sooner you call the more likely we are available. Our schedule fills up fast.
We are more than happy to meet in person. Local coffee shops have proven to be the most convenient for most of our clients, but we're happy to meet just about anywhere. If you're an hour away, it's no problem! We'll still be happy to come to you!
